"Of Wales’ 30,000 listed buildings, about 10% are on local authority “at risk” registers"

The poster for the Afternoon Tea we’re organising in December called ‘An Afternoon to Remember’.
We are hoping that Penarth residents with memories of the pavilion will come along to this nostalgic afternoon tea, to tell their stories and share photographs and memories. It should provide us with some lovely material for the part of the film that will explore the pavilion’s colourful social history.
We’re interviewing the well known and much loved Welsh entertainer Stan Stennett next week. In a career that spans almost 70 years, Stennett has performed for generations of audiences throughout the world - some of which included those at the Pavilion back when it was a dance hall and concert venue.
“A young Stan Stennet often provided the cabaret on Sunday nights at the Pavilion. They were lovely times which I remember with fondness.”

The blog for the Pavilion film is finally up and running! We have a busy few weeks leading up to christmas with filming, interviews, school workshops and afternoon teas but hopefully this blog will keep you up to date with everything that we’re doing. Keep checking for ways you can be involved as we’re always looking for new volunteers.
